Survey – Expression of Interest for Houghton High

As Salaamu Alaikum

The Houghton Muslim Academy has communicated that it would pursue the establishment of a high school (Houghton High) with effect from 2020. We aim to establish a standalone High School independent from the Primary school, accommodating both boys and girls. Our mission however of providing a balance between high quality Academic education and focused Sporting programmes within an Islamic environment will be carried through to the High School.

Should you be interested in enrolling your child in any of the Grades from Gr 8 – Gr 10 in 2020, we invite you to complete the latter non-committal survey which will assist the Board in its planning for the High school. The school will grow a grade every year from 2020 until it is a fully established High school up to Grade 12.

The expression of interest provides us with a basis on which to determine the capacity and selection of subjects that should be prioritised. It further allows for comments to be received and contact details to be retrieved in communicating various updates with parties who are interested in attending the institution.
